Luke 1977 releases it's Autumn/Winter 2010 range and it's looking like it could be another vintage season for the independent mens designer clothing brand.
Luke 1977 will require no introduction to those in the know of mens fashion; the signature embroidered lion logo is more and more reknowned. For those new to the brand, here's a little introduction and history to 'the United Kingdom of Luke': '

Luke 1977 is the clothing brand reared from the streets of Walsall. Luke Roper was born son of a wedding dressmaker and grew up with clothing design and production around him. He developed his skills from a young age and by the age of 15 he was making shirts for his school friends. Luke's next stepping stone was a fashion and textiles course at his local college. From there, he stepped to Central Saint Martins College of Fashion in London, 1997. In this period he was learning his trade, making suits using traditional methods. It was in 2001 that the ‘Luke’ label was created. Almost a decade on, and the Autumn Winter 2010 collection is eagerly awaited by both the fashion industry and customers alike.

Luke's A/W 2010 Collection includes jackets, jumpers, cardigans, shirts, t-shirts, denim, zip tops and accesories.
Luke 1977 have always been known for their knitwear; warm and chunky cardigans and v-neck / crew neck jumpers with distinctive styling; in recent seasons they have expanded their range to span a full range of denim, shirts and accessories.
The shirts promise to be particularly successful this season; available in various coloured checks and beautifully styled in the Luke 1977 fashion and to their high manufacturing standards.
