It's something that many people thought would never happen, a new mobile browser has been released for the iphone as an app and not only that it will be able to play flash.

Now everybody knows that apple hates flash, so what has brought about this u-turn, well it would seem that the new skyfire browser wont actually play flash as normal, it instead converts video from the Adobe Flash into the next generation HTML 5 code. Its a rather ingenious solution to apple's flash lock down policy and it should help keep flash hungry consumers happy.

There has been much speculation recently about a possible release date of the white iphone before Christmas, but the latest news on the apple vine is that the release date for the white 4g model has been pushed back to sping 2011 at the earliest. 

This will come as a blow for both apple and the consumer who would both have been looking forward to getting this on their wish list for Christmas 2010.
